How to get rid of food smell in house?
i live in a regular sized two story house. whenever my mom makes the asian food it stinks up the whole dam house even with the windows open and door closed but most importantly it makes my clothes smell really bad like food. I just noticed that a lot of the smell comes from the vent or whatever it is called that gives off heat. noot from the door. is there any way i could reduce the smell of the food from reaching my room or something?

Does anyone have a KitchenAid food processor? How do you like it? How well does it grate...?

I am looking for a food processor that I can use to shred cheeses easily and chop onions along with other uses for it. But I am wondering about those two functions in particular, as the older f.p.'s used to just make a mess of the food and didn't really do what they were suppose too do. Does anyone have the 7 cup size? I don't really think I want to get the 12 cup but I want a 3 cup to do smaller things. Please give me your experiences with one pro and or cons. I own a KA stand mixer so figured I would look at that brand for the fp, they seem to have really good ratings. Please give personal opinions and your thoughts about the product.

I want to take seeds from the fruit vegetables that we eat at home to show my 2 year old how to plant them and how plants grow. Which seeds would work the best and fastest? I don't really care to make the seed grow all the way to flowering, just as long as he sees a plant sprouting and growing from the pot.
