Why little flags on lawns warning of pesticide spraying? Why would anyone pesticide a lawn?

Anyone use any mail box alert flags?
we live up a long road and its a pain to go down and check over and over to see if we have any mail. Has anyone used one of these? the wireless ones would be nice but id rather have one that is visual and maybe a bit cheaper. the only reason I haven't bought this one yet is due to the shipping time, Im browsing atm for anything. thankswell we do get bills and stuff but I help parents best I can, we watch niece and nephew so its a bit hectic, this would help great but Im worried about how long it last.

How do I hang flags on a wall?
I'm going to university in a week and I'll be living in residence, and I want to hang a couple of flags on the walls American, Canadian, and Scottish . I was wondering what the proper way to hang the flags would be. I don't think tape or sticky tack would hold properly, and I would prefer not to nail holes through the flags. Is there a sturdy way to hang them without impaling them?I would like to avoid using nails mainly because I don't want to put holes in brand new flags one of which was a gift , just like how I wouldn't want to put holes in anything else I own if I can avoid it. If there is no other way, then I won't have a problem using small nails, but I figured I would ask if there was a way to avoid it.

The paving flags in front of my house a wobbling?
The path that leads to my front door is wobbling what do i need to make it stop there is a 1 foot drop to my lawn on the side which is worse any ideas.

Looking for outside flags size 9X13 not much bigger they go in flower beds and etc.?

What is an easy way to hang poster flags?
I have 2 poster flags I got for Christmas 2 years ago. I had them hung up once but I had to take them down when I moved into my new room. My mom won't let me hang them since my room is literally new as its an addition to the old part of the house. Any good ideas to keep from damaging the walls would is essentially what I'm asking, thanks

How can I make a flag stand to set on cement?
I'm making flags for my medieval renaissance wedding. Kind of like this, farm1.static.flickr.com 68 197882810 aa7b0157df.jpg, only not as fancy. I need to make flag stands that are cheap and movable, so they can stand as decorations at both the ceremony and at the reception. I can't just stick them in the ground either any ideas on how to construct them?

How can I get the musty smell out of flag?
My mom just gave me the flag that draped my fathers casket back in 1961. He was a WWII vet....the flag has a terrible musty odor. I would like to put it in one of those shadow box frames for flags...but would like to try & get the smell out first. It has been folded in the triangle since it was handed to my mom.... Thanks

If we display a flag from a post on the front of my house and we came home a couple nights ago to find our?
we came home to find our flag rolled up and tied with ribbon to keep it closed and laying on our porch . Is there any reason anyone can think of why someone would do this , It was a super windy day but why would someone tie a bow around our flag and nicely place it on our porch . ??? anyone ??
