Is it possible to have X10 wall switches trigger other events or modules?
I am planning on setting up an X10 system probably using misterhouse on linux. Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to have a switch like this smarthome.com 2031W X10 In Wall Light Switch White WS467 W PLW01 W p.aspxtrigger another event or appliance light. You know, like when I turn on the living room lights sense that and this could be picked up by my computer which could trigger other events. If not is there any way to do this using something else?

Wrinkle-free tablecloth setup for events?
our store recently started offering tablecloth rental setup we deal with big events so we generally set up 20 50 tablecloths at a time. what's the easiest way to set up large polyester tablecloths WITHOUT the wrinkles? the washer dryer method is not an option for us since it's not easily accessible at event locations and we tried using a steamer but it's very time consuming because we're dealing with large quantity. any other ideas?

Can anyone from S Wales remember the name of the company who sells garden furniture at events, markets etc?
I went to the Bridgend street market about 2 years ago and a company who only sells via the Internet and shows, markets etc displayed their tables, chairs, benches there, i had a leaflet so i could buy when i could afford it but i can't find the leaflet i have tried getting the info from the organisers but due to data protection act they cant give me the info. If anyone bought furniture from the market and can remember any info i would really appreciate the details. I remember a deposit needed to be paid with the order and the balance to be paid on delivery, this company did not have a shop. Thank you in anticipation of your response.

Neighbours disturbing bathroom window events!?
Okay, i have a house behind mine and they have a weird bathroom window that looks like its in the shower. They don't have blinds as i think they think just because the window blurred, you cant see um...BUT YOU CAN Extremely clearly Like naked nipple clearly What should i do? Protecting our home in event electric goes out?
We just recently lost our electric here for over 24 hours due to high winds.. some people in the area still dont have electricity Fortunantly, its not cold out.Our home is completely run on electric.. no gas Our water is also supplied by a well. If we did loose our electrict in the middle of winter, we could pack ourselves up and go to my parents, even if they loose their power too, they at least have natural gas to heat their home.What could I do to protect my home tho, should we loose electric in the winter? How to prevent pipes from freezing and busting, etc?we cant " leave the faucets run" because we have well water.. it takes our ELECTRIC pump to keep water running.the expence of " buying a generator" and " hiring an electrition" is not a feasable option. If the electric went out here often, it would be worth considering, but it rarely happens.Jerry where I live, we dont have a natural gas line.. when we installed the new furnace the options were either electric or propane tank. We decided to go with electric as it would be cheaper to heat with. Well water has nothing to do with being rich either.. there's no public water lines out here

My home has 4 skylights in the roof. How do i protect these in the event of bushfire?

Last winter we lost power for 24 hrs, and I was really cold. How can I prepare for such an event?
The wind was blowing and when I arrived home from work, I realized we had no power. I live rural, so chances of getting it back on quick is pretty grim. I had about 2 dozen tea candles and a kitchen gas stove, and some matches, so I fired up the stove, lit about 5 candles and waited it out in the freezing cold. I have a utility room which has a gas wall heater, but there is no where to sit down except my computer which has a bar stool in front of it. How can I prepare myself for another power outage. Whats the proper size generator for a 3 bedroom 1 person occupied house. I would basically like to have enough power to listen to the radio and maybe watch some TV to keep up with how its going. Can you give me some idea's to prepare for a power outage if we get another one in the cold?

Would you consider an event coordinator an interior designer?
I have a showroom that I operate where I think it may be beneficial for interior designers to get discounts on my product. I sell home furnishings. Would you consider an event coordinator for the discount? My impression is that they use rentals mostly.Also, would you consider the fact that they would be potentially returning the items they purchase? I would not guess the event coordinators would have space to store all these extra things.
