Converting a two family to a single family home?
We are considering purchasing a two family home, but I would like to convert it to a single family. What kind of price range would I be looking at for a project like this? It is 2795 sq ft. and is located in Ravena, NY I know it is impossible to give any solid numbers without seeing it and everything, but any kind of informed guesstimation would really help to get a feeling for what we may be getting into. thanks so much for any help

So I just posted a question about what the bug is, and I got that it's a ladybug. I went on wikipedia and it said that ladybugs will infest people's homes to evade the cold. How do I get rid of them? They seem to only appear in my room.
Color for baseboards, trim & doors in modern style home?
My current baseboards, trim, crown molding and doors are glossy white with brushed nickel hardware the walls are painted a a medium grey taupe and the floors are soon to be carbonized bamboo. Our decor is a modern contemporary style with a black, white, gray color palette, the furniture that is made of wood is a very dark brown black finish.Should I leave the trim " standard builders white" or paint them a dark color like espresso?

I have Palm trees that were planted before I bought my home. NEED HELP?
I prune them every year when the leaves are dead but now they just look sick. They are tall with only a few fronds at the top the ones that weren't snapped in the wind and were hanging low and brown . The person who cut them left long stems but cut the brown fronds. Basically I just need to know when I should stop pruning them because I just don't understand how they can keep reproducing new fronds every year?
